Math Teaching Assistant – Applied Calculus II
As a Math Teaching Assistant for Applied Calculus II at SUNY Korea, I played an active leadership and mentoring role in supporting undergraduate students’ academic development. I led structured review sessions, guided students through complex problem-solving strategies, and provided individualized mentoring to address gaps in mathematical foundations. Beyond assisting with coursework, I helped students develop disciplined study habits and confidence in quantitative reasoning. I also served as a communication bridge between students and the instructor, identifying common challenges and adjusting support strategies accordingly. Through this role, I strengthened my leadership, instructional skills, and commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment.
